Good News vs. Bad News (6/14)

The good news for Thursday, June 14:

The Royals' bats collectively kicked butt today, scoring 17 runs and getting 15 hits. Gordon homered, Teahen tripled twice and drove in 5 runs, Emil Brown increased his trade value (if microscopically), Germy and DeJesus each collected hits, and even Tony Pena, Jr. got in on the fact (solidifying a "Diamond in the Rough" status for his acquisition).

The bad news for Thursday, June 14:

Nuke Hochevar got rocked. Once again. Yes, again.

His line for this evening:

Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
Hochevar (L, 3-6) 4.2 10 7 5 0 6 1 5.05

I'm beginning to have serious doubts he will be the ace he was originally expected to be. As he nears 24, even with the windup and delivery changes - I am very worried.

0 walks is good, though. Laughing
